I have been a Chef for many years. My earlier careers had nothing to do with cooking. In 2006 I started part-time, on request, and as my reputation grew it took over my life. I've never had a business card or a website. I just answered calls and went to cook and entertain while in L.A. and Orange County. I only cooked for small parties, in-home, for business and entertainment celebrities.

My life journey brought me to Colorado and the V.A. I could retire, but that's not for me. So I cook for our Veterans at a hospital. This is what I do.

It has been an interesting journey. Cooking in absolutes, adhering to exact recipes, understanding the specific needs of patients, and protecting their health. In just one year I developed over 200 scratch recipes approved by hospital dietitians. I am having fun!

I can always share any recipe. Well-body, calorie-restricted, IDDSI, nutrition-specific, or just for fun. I hope this journal turns into a great resource for all of the Chefs and home cooks out there seeking new ideas.
